What is Hajareen?

"Hajareen" is a Jordanian non-profit organization officially established in 2024, after beginning as a community initiative in 2018. It relies on football as a primary tool for development and aims to provide safe playing spaces for children and youth, empowering them with the tools and skills necessary to reach their full potential and build a community of young leaders within their societies.

Our values

Our Mission

To be the leading force in supporting sports development in the Middle East by 2030.

Our Vision

Shaping a generation of children and youth who thrive in life through the power of sports.

Our Ambition

Empowering 1 million girls and children to participate in sports programs that promote education and health by 2030.

Why the name "Hajareen" ?

The name “Hajareen” was chosen because it embodies the childhood memories of the founder, Anas, who played football in underserved areas using two stones as goalposts. These stones were not just simple tools but a symbol of creativity and resilience in the face of challenges.

Since 2018, we have launched the 'Hajareen' initiative to provide safe and supportive play spaces for children and youth in underserved communities. These communities face significant challenges, with high unemployment rates fueling frustration among our youth. We are committed to fostering the development of children and youth, equipping them with essential skills, and actively working on innovative solutions to address these challenges.
